AN ANCIENT APPROACH TO SUBTLE-ENERGY THERAPIES
About the book
THE WAY THEY HEALED is not only an introduction to THE GREAT BOOK OF THE ESSENIAN & EGYPTIAN THERAPIES but also a comprehensive approach of the Ancient Techniques used by the EGYPTIANS and the ESSENIANS in their daily practice and lifestyle.
Energy Healing & Anointing Oils
With An Approach to the Therapy in his book, Daniel Meurois defines the subtle-energy therapies used in the time of the Pharaohs as holistic “medicine” to prevent and treat diseases. Holistic meant the use of therapeutic touch and the aromatic oils as much as the ‘grounding sense’ of reading the subtle bodies to offer a unique healing session to the patient. Every healing session was based on energy healing because they understood that the cause of disharmony or disease in the body originated in the subtle bodies. “For the Essenian Therapists, a disease with an infectious nature was therefore controlled by a kind of soul, although this is undoubtedly excessive. In reality, they spoke of the intelligence and relative anatomy of certain “psychic seeds”.”
Methods of Purification
The Intention of the Essene-Egyptian Therapist was tailored in some methods of preparation like the purification of the chakras. The Essenians like the Egyptians spent a great time of being aligned in order to offer healing. For them there was no separation between cleaning their healing room and anointing their oils and aromas, between the physical or emotional pain, between emotions and thoughts, between their daily routine and the sacred temples.
All were One in their healing hands
You will find in this book THE WAY THEY HEALED how the multidimensionality of this therapy was addressed, the importance of refining your touch, the preparation of the therapist-channel, and a few key treatments.
Excerpt: “Most of the gestures were performed with the therapist’s eyes closed. His hands were so sensitive that the therapist could immediately spot, with a simple touch, the areas or points to be treated on a patient. (...) The grace of the movements, which might seem meaningless to some, develops on its own, as a real harmony unfolds on the practice of the therapist. In this sense, spontaneously while retaining a necessary simplicity, (...) a mark of real connection with the Divine.”
